Human Rights Watch, 15 feb.2016
Human Rights Watch wrote a letter to the Moroccan government on 15 Feb. 2016, again appealing to them to issue laws that will provide help to women who are the victims of domestic violence.
Domestic violence is a major issue throughout the Arab World; one of our programs currently on TV in the Arab World is bringing the testimonies of such women to the forefront. Women who are often left to help themselves. Police often don’t have sufficient guidance on how to respond effectively when a woman issues a complaint on domestic violence.
