Many exciting projects are coming to fruition as we approach the end of 2009.

Fourteen dramatized testimonies of Moroccans coming to faith in Jesus Christ are now being broadcast on two popular Christian satellite stations covering North Africa. Each episode features dramatized reenacted scenes to visualize the testimony, with the voice-over of the Moroccan convert narrating it.

A local Moroccan telephone number is being promoted in the program to invite feedback and questions from the viewers in the country. Those who have access to the internet can also send an e-mail and visit the program’s specially developed website - www.shehada.org

“We are glad the programs are completed and on air now,” reports the project manager. “Many of the young actors and helpers from the region that contributed to the project were much affected and encouraged by being asked to be involved in such a project. One actor was himself a Muslim convert and was excited to be able to play a part. It was amazing to see how God provided motivated people to help do the work in the four different countries we filmed in,” he concludes.

Arab Vision’s new 24/7 Internet Station has just been launched on the net. Initially, it is comprised of a 3-hour block of programming, repeated throughout the day. Later on, more tailor-made programs will be added to the schedule to expand the daily service.

The number of people in the Arab World with access to the Internet has grown exponentially in the last five years; the Gulf region leads in this, but also poorer countries like Egypt have made good progress. Overall, it is estimated that 24 million in the region have access to high speed Internet.

Our TV programs are on a 24/7 internet channel now, reaching a potential audience of 24 million Arabs who have access to high speed internet. Your donation of $186 covers the cost of broadcasting Arabic Christian TV programs for a full segment of 24 hours on this channel.

Journey Through Art ($225)
A Moroccan Christian uses his art to share his testimony with the viewers. He paints pictures on the canvas that illustrate his faith in Christ, and explains them verbally at the same time. We are in the process of filming the second series of this creative production, so your donation of $225 will help fund this production.

Reaching Muslims in the west ($300)
Many Christians in the west have questions about Islam and how they can effectively share the Gospel with their Muslim neighbors and contacts. This new TV series will be made by Arab Christians (in English) to educate the viewers about Islam and how to reach Muslims. Your contribution of $300 will help produce an episode.

Distribution for broadcasting ($700)
Our programs are distributed to a number of Christian satellite stations covering the Arab World. Some of them are not able to pay the cost of receiving these programs. Can you help with the distribution process? A donation of $700 covers the costs of copying and delivering 13 full episodes to the station for broadcast.
